I wouldn’t wait for Adrian to pick me up so I decided to walk myself. Once I got home, my parents were waiting for me in the living room. I put the umbrella in a cabinet by the door, hearing the sounds of Camilla’s baking session in the kitchen and walked to what may as well be my doom.
