Meeting the royal family

Kira POV
I sat down on the green grass with the garden of red roses on the right and garden of lilies on the left which produced a smell of roses mixed with lilies and fresh grass.
I remembered what had happened earlier after we made our way down from our room to such a beautiful dinning set up.
The dinning table is a thirty five feet long,dark brown mahogany hardwood and also 35 dark brown mahogany chairs around the table.
There are three candle holding Chandelier on the table to cover the whole length of the dinning table. The table also contains pewter cups with cast decoration in relief,tankards in which are filled with wines and water. There are also pewters for eating with narrow rim and cast reeding and a lead alloy spoon with a hexagonal stem and circular bowl.
"Oh dear,you look so beautiful" the queen complimented while walking towards my mate and I. She kissed my forehead, held my hands and lead me to sit by her.
"Thank you mum" I replied her.
"She is so beautiful,how did this i***t end up getting such an angel for a mate?"one of the two girls sitting beside the king.
They look so alike and of the same height,I guess they are twins. They are like the female version of the king,but have the eyes of the queen. The one with the blue eyes has a long blonde hair while the one with green eyes has a short blonde hair.
My mate glared at the two girls which made me chuckle even as I sit opposite the one with the short hair.
"My name is Gina and here is my twin sister Hellen and that fool over there is our brother"the one with the short hair said while they both waved at me.
" My name is Kira" I replied as I waved back.
"Mum!" John exclaimed
"Girls I've told you to stop teasing your brother" the queen warned.
I just laughed as they made gesture of we are watching you and my mate made a am watching too gesture. They actually look cute,I could feel the love they have for each other to be very strong.
All the while we were talking,the king was silent and watching my every move. I sense distrust for me in him,but I understand even though the other family members seems to be cool with me that I am the daughter of the enemy.
"So I hear you've marked and mated her" the king suddenly said bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Yes i did" John answered.
" Awwwww,our dear brother is becoming a man" the twins said in unison and giggling and teasing my mate. My cheek heated up and I felt ashamed.
"Stop it you two,I pity the poor souls that will be mated to you both"the queen chirped in.
"So we are thinking of introducing you to the whole Kingdom next week as a princess and the mate of the crown prince" the queen said.
"Isabella! Can you be calm for a second?" The king lashed out on the queen which made everyone flinched and I felt my mate's feeling of surprise and anger. I tapped his hand to calm him down.
"I am very sorry,I didn't mean to come out like this" the king apologized
"Am sorry,but I think am filled up I need to go to my room" John said while standing up.
" Come on Kira let's go"he added.
I stood up,took his hand and followed him.
As we were on our way,I heard the twins murmur with themselves.
We got to the bottom the staircase to our room,then I had an urge to go to the garden.
"Sorry I would like to get s iiome fresh air outside" I told him.
"Ok let's go together" he replied
" No you can go ahead,I will love to be alone. I will be in the garden"I answered.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to be alone when you don't even know the castle very well" my mate said.
" Don't worry am not going far,I'll be in the garden" I replied tapping his hands.
" Ok but don't stay long" he told me.
" I won't" I said walking out to the garden.

I closed my eyes while taking in the fresh air when I suddenly felt the change in the air,so I opened my eyes and stood up alarmed and ready for any attack.
"Hello Kira" I familiar voice said from behind me. I turned to find aunty Sharon sitting on the bench in the garden.
"Aunty Sharon!" I ran to her and hugged her.
" I've missed yer kiddo" she replied.
"What are you doing here and how did you get in here?" I asked as I unwrap my hands around her.
"Yer mama has told me to bring this to yer" she answered
"What is it?" I asked
"She said a protective necklace,for ya and yer mate" she answered
"How are my parents and hope all is well?" I asked concerned
" Well all is fine,ya jus focus on ya new family" she said smiling.
" What of my grandma,is she awake?" I enquired
" Not yet" she replied
" Why Has mum told you to come give these to me?" I pressed further.
"Well ya know yer papa and mama,they are a bit off the edge over all this,ya mum wants you protected" she replied
"Why is that,is there something you are hiding from me?" I asked concerned
"Well ama tell ya something,the one that wants yer mate dead is risen and _" she was cut short by an activity towards the entrance of the castle,I knew its my mate John.
"Sorry kiddo,I've gat to go" she said then in a blink of an eye she has gone. That's what scares me about her,she moves like a freaking ninja.
" Kira,are you ok?" John asked
" Umm yes I.. I am ok" I stuttered
" Your worry and distance was all over the place, what's going on you can talk to me" John enquired.
" Oh sorry I was worried about my parents and grandma" I lied
"Well please can you come in now,my lycan has been restless and you know how George gets"he said.
" Ok let's go,but we need to talk about George" I replied as we made our way into the castle.
