When Amy went to police academy: Light chatter erupted as Amy walked across the large room, several officers had stopped talking in their normal voice for a more hushed tone. They saw Amy and changed the topic, it went straight to gossip and it made Amy feel sick. Not because she hated to be talked about, she did not care, and not because it was so glaringly obvious.
