Amy was lying on a table with her legs in stirrups, she was dressed in a hospital gown and she was looking very nervous. Xavier gently took her hand and held it, he gave her a soft and reassuring smile as he stood next to her. The doctor was moving the ultrasound over her tiny bulge as he jotted down some numbers to the screen. The doctor looked like he was very focused on what he was doing so neither Amy nor Xavier wanted to interrupt. The doctor kept scanning but looked at both Xavier and Amy with a genuine smile.
“Would you like to know the gender?”
Amy gasped, “but it’s too early for that.”
The doctor quickly explained, “for a human pregnancy, yes, but this is developing as a werewolf pregnancy.”
