Episode 4

Austin’s POV:

“Gina tell me what to do in order for you to accept me as your mate.” I asked Gina feeling helpless, I had no other choice than to beg her.

“Austin stop begging her, just let her be.” Ashly said agitated.

“Ashly shut up will you, this is between me and Gina okay.” I said angry at Ashly for trying to meddle in my business.

“I’m not rejecting you Austin, it’s just that…” Gina said trying to explain this whole mess to us.

“This place is evil, they will never let us be together, they believe that a mate only makes you weak, they only want the strong wolves, and they train us to be perfect, to be the strongest of them all.” She continued to explain.

“I’ve seen this happen before, and I don’t want it to happen to me and you. If you have a mate, they kill your mate, they kill the one that is weak and the strong one survives.

That makes the mate that is alive to be the devil that they want us to be, they’ll be heartless as they come.

Which comes to my point. No one must know that we are mates.” Gina said looking at me with puppy eyes.

“No Gina, we can’t live apart from each other, that will only kill me.” I said turning away from Gina.

“Austin, you have to listen to me, promise me please. How will you live with yourself if they kill me then.” Gina said with a serious look.

I stopped at my tracks, I looked back at Gina.

“I will kill them Gina, I will kill them all.” I said to Gina anger evident in my face.

“Promise me Austin!” Gina said angry that I wouldn’t listen to what he was saying.

I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if Gina was killed only because she was my mate. “Okay, I promise, no one shall know we are mates.” I said looking at Ashly’s position.

“Why are you both looking at me, I’m only minding my own business!” Ashly said playing with her right foot, seems like she was writing something on the floor.

“Ashly!” Gina and I shouted at the same time at Ashly desperate for her attention.

“Okay, okay, I promise no one will ever find out about you two.” Ashly said coming back to where Gina and I were standing.

“come here.” She said as she hugged both of us. “I’m so happy for you guys.” Ashly giggled.

I looked at Gina and she was calm again, she looked happy but you could still see that she was worried.

“Don’t be worried my Gina, I will protect you.” I said teasing Gina and she smiled at me.

“Gina what is this place, how did you end up in this place, did they also kidnap you?” Ashly asked concern in her voice.

“Actually, these here are the holding cells, if you go against what they tell you here, they send you to the cells.” Gina said rolling her eyes.

“So what did you do to be in the cells?” I asked Gina confused.

“I tried to escape, this place they call it the college phase, and they pair us in 4, two girls and two boys.” Gina explained as we listened attentively.

“So the four of us plotted the escape for 6 months before we put our plans to action.” Gina said looking sad all over again.

“It was at night when we tried to escape, and no one noticed anything, we were able to drug the guards using the arrows we made ourselves. We already passed past the gate when lord Kane called us to come back before he kills us, we did not listen to him and kept on running, one by one they shot us down with bullets containing wolf’s bane.” Gina sighed and continued.

“My partners died on the spot, and I was the only one surviving.” Gina said looking more sad.

“I’m sorry about your friends Gina.” Ashly said comforting Gina.

“I cannot tell you for how long I’ve been in the cells because I can’t count the days as it’s always dark in here, maybe it’s been one month and some days, and they’ve been starving me, giving me food twice a week.” Gina continued to tell us her story here.

I felt sorry for Gina, she’s been through a lot without me.

“I’m going to kill them one by one for doing this to you.” I said hitting the wall with my fist as I couldn’t contain my anger.

“I’m so glad to see you guys have met, come out now, it’s time to meet Lord Kane.” A voice said interrupting us and it was Casper, along with David unlocking the door.

Seeing them again, along with the story Gina just told me, I became more angry and I couldn’t contain my anger, my wolf wanted to come out and sort these boys out, right there and then, I shifted into my wolf, ready to fight for my mate and twin.
