Our group was in dire need of R&R time and this day together, socializing, swimming and just being together had done us all the world of good. It gave me and Luc a different perspective on each other. We had a bit of time to get to know each other before the whole, “hmm MINE, growl” caveman moment. We helped with the clean-up even when the seekers insisted it was not necessary. It made us feel as if we were back in the old days when we had a pack barbeque.
“Thank you, Megan, it has been an amazing day. I needed to get out of the office.” I gave her a hug.
“Yes, thank you for getting my girl out of that stuffy office and back into a swimsuit.” Luc grinned.
“Your girl?” I looked at him and he just grinned.
