Alexa Joins Arizona High

I was filled with amusement upon seeing inside the school. I accidentally bumped into a tall boy with silver hair. He looked at me for a really long time, I noticed how handsome he was and before I could even apologize ,a group of students with cameras approach me, and he walked away. They started taking pictures of me, which was so uncomfortable. I tried to hide from them but they followed me everywhere I went. I was so confused about what was happening, and in the blink of an eye , a girl with black round glasses pulled me away from them. I was so relieved.

"Hi, I am Selinè, you're new here. Right? " she asked

" Yah," l replied

"I kinda noticed that." she said

" Alexa, and why were those guys taking my picture."

She looked at me, stunned at how I didn't know anything about the school, and she said,

" Ooh, that's for the school newspaper. It happens to all of us," with a smile on her face . Selinè was really lovely and cheerful .She had sharp, piercing green eyes.

" Anyway, let me show you around because we still have time ." she said, and I asked,

" So when do classes start?"

"They start at 9 :00".Selinè and I instantly bonded as she showed me around. We reached a place, and she said,

" This is the last place I want to show you."

" What is this?" The place was dark, so I couldn't see anything. When she turned on the lights, it was the basketball court. Before I could say anything , we heard the bell and she rushed me to class.

In class....

Selinè saved me a seat next to hers, but I didn't like it, so I chose another one. When I sat down, I saw a brown girl with wavy hair at the back of the class chewing gum . She stood up and walked to me with two girls .They looked ready to fight.

" Hey, new girl, I don't think you heard, but that's my seat, so find somewhere else to sit." I thought Selinè would help me, but she was rendered powerless to that girl.

I stood up and looked everywhere to get a seat, but they were all occupied. I was completely at sea until a cute tall boy stood up and offered me his seat. His name was Ricky, and apparently, he was the leader of a basketball team called THE LAKERS, and he said,

" A seat for a pretty lady."( That was really sweet of him), but I didn't like the way the other girls looked at me. When the teacher came in, I saw Selinè shiver and the meany Nicole was laughing. The teacher looked at Selinè smirked and said,

" Good morning, class. I am aware they we have a new student ." He looked at me and added,

" Will you please stand up and introduce yourself. By the way, I'm Tr Chris." I stood up and said,

"Hi guys, My name is Alexa." After saying that ,I sat down, and everyone laughed. I wanted the ground to swallow me, but Tr Chris interrupted and said,

" That's not how we introduce ourselves here in AZ, but since you're new, it is very okay."

During the lesson...

I was so bored that I couldn't get my eyes off the clock waiting for the lesson to end . I finally heard the bell , Tr Chris walked towards Selinè and gave her a letter. She seemed really frightened after he left, and I asked,

" What's wrong ?" She changed her attitude as the happiest girl in the world. That was so odd because I was sure that she was really frightened.

She quickly stood up and left. Before I could put the pieces together, two girls approached me, and one of them said,

"Hi, my name is Rene, and this is my friend Emily. What is your name?"

"Alexa." I replied, and they both smiled and said,

" Ooh wow, you have a really nice name. Which country are you from?"

"Spain and America. I'm a half caste." They looked at themselves, giggled and said,

"OMG, we have a cute half caste. By the way, don't steal our boyfriend's mostly Ricky because Nicole has had a crush on him ever since he joined this school." I was speechless, and Emily said,

"The look on Ricky's face when he saw you explained a lot." I was so confused, and I asked,

" Which look?" and Emily said,

" Ricky couldn't get his eyes off you ever since you entered the class. ." We fell silent for some time, and Rene asked,

"Anyway, why did you change when you're almost done with high school?" I smiled and replied,

" Just wanted to change environment, and that school is terrible."

"Did you have a boyfriend in your school?" they asked, and I replied,

"No, all the boys are players, and I wasn't interested in them."

"Ricky ain't a player. He has never dated any girl. Why do you think Nicole still has a crush on him. When he saw that Nicole chased you from her seat and you had nowhere to sit, he quickly offered you his. Normally, he ignores new students, but he had interest in you .You never know you might become his girl."

" I doubt. Why would a popular boy like me? "They asked me for my number, I gave it to them and left to find Selinè.

As I was getting out ,I spotted Selinè entering the washroom with Tr Chris. I was shocked, and i decided to see what was going on. Surprisingly, the washrooms were for male teachers ONLY!!!!! and why would Tr Chris drag Selinè to the washroom. I got out my phone as I came closer to the washroom.

As I looked around to see if anyone was coming, I hit the door, and my heart started racing. Luckily, no one heard me. I took a deep breath, opened the door, and what I saw left me traumatized.......................
