Nicole approached me with excitement and said,

"Alexa, guess what just happened. "

"What?" I asked, and she said,

"Darren proposed to me. "

"Ooh, that amazing. "

"I know right, has Ricky proposed to you yet?"

"Not really." I replied sadly because everyone was being proposed to apart from me.

" Why??"

"I don't know. Anyway, tell me what he bought for you."

"He bought an expensive gold necklace,a big teddy bear, and a heart-shaped necklace. Anyway, we have started dating."

Nicole and I giggled as we talked about girl stuff. Lin approached me. I thought he was going to talk to us, but he knelt down on one leg and said,

"Alexa, since the day that I saw you. You were all I could think about. I know you love Ricky, but maybe I can get a chance." I looked at him as he brought all the gifts

The whole class looked at me, waiting for my reply, and I said,

"NO!!!!" Yes, I said no because I love Ricky, and I couldn't go with Lin. Lin ran out the classroom crying like a baby, and there was nothing u could say. Everyone in class envied me from that day onwards. when we heard the bell, everyone sat on their seats . Selinè sat next to me, but as usual, we didn't talk. When the teacher entered the class, he said,

"I know you're all getting ready for prom, but this time, we are going to. do something different. I want all the girls to write their names on a piece of paper and then put them in those box." We did as he suggested, and he added,

"Boys, come and pick any paper. The name you will find is the girl you will go with for prom."The boys stood up apart from the boy in the jumper. When the boys were done, there was one paper left, and that boy went and got it.Nicole had to go with Darren.I mean who doesn't know that.Lin got Selinè s name and Kai that boy in the jumper got my name. I felt like telling the teacher to repeat so that I could get another prom date, but he refused to repeat. Ricky was going with Ivy. I was terribly hurt, but I stayed strong, and then the teacher said,

"So everyone get to know your dates."

Kai came to sit next to me. I tried waving to him, but he ignored me, and I hate it when people ignore me.

"Kai, why won't you talk to me." I asked, and he just looked at me. I got angry, and as I stood up to leave, he held my hand and said,

"Sorry, I'm sorry." I smiled at him and sat down. We talked for a really long time and we didn't notice that it was to me for going back home.He smiled at me and left.I stood up to look for Nicole and I saw her talking to Darren. Surprisingly, Ricky had already left, so I decided to walk home.

I replied it and as I entered my home, I got a text from Nicole.She just wanted to make sure that I was alright.

when I reached the door of my room, Kelly yelled at me to clean the table she was sitting next to, and it wasn't dirty at all. I had to do as she said after all, I was staying in her horrible house.I turned around and moved straight to her and said,

"Kelly, I'm tired of your f****d up things. What did I ever do to you? Huh.Tell me." She stood up and looked at me with anger and said,

"Ooh, so new you think that you're incharge since you got yourself a boyfriend. "(Oh my God, how did she know about my boyfriend) I thought to myself and she added,

"You thought I didn't know. Young girl, I know everything and I know that your boyfriend slapped my precious Ava and you will have to suffer for what he did. Do you are basically a maid here."

I was so angry and I wanted to slap her but it would be wasting my time. I cleaned her table as she wanted and went straight to my bedroom.

In my room.....

I took a deep breath as I sat on my bed and reflected on my miserable life. I eventually feel asleep but through a lot of pain and tears. In the morning, I dressed up and I ran to school cause to was going to rain and also to avoid my evil step mom Kelly.

In class.....

I was minding my own business when Lucy a transfer student approached me and said,

"Ricky is such a flirt. I saw him with this new girl Camilla in the gym and guess what ?"

"What?"

"He was kissing her........"

"Oh my God, how could he?"

"Beats me."

I was so angry. I quickly stood up and moved straight to his seat.

"How could you do this to me?" He ignored my question making me look like a fool so I asked again,

"How could you do this to me? "

"Do what b***h?" I was shocked by his reply........

"Why the f**k are you calling me a b***h? Do you think I'm a fool that I wouldn't know that you were making out with Camilla in the gym."

"Firstly, your one, and what are you talking about? " he replied.

"Don't act all innocent. Lucy told me that you were in the gym with Camilla doing your shit."

"I'm so disappointed in you. How can you believe a transfer student. I mean, she has just come into this school." He said angrily and looked very sad and disappointed in me.What he did next completely shocked me. He knelt down and said,

"Alexa, my love. Please know that I would never do anything like that to hurt you and if you ever caught me staring at Camilla, it's because her hair was such a mess. "

"Okay then why did you call me a b***h?"

"Darren told me that if I called you a b***h, he would know that I love you to the moon and back."

"Apology accepted." I replied with a smile on my face and I carried on to my business. As I was completing an assignment some girl called Ivy approached me and said,

"However much I don't like you, Ricky is a male hoe and you should know that. He falls for any pretty girl that he meets and breaks up with them or cheats on them."

" I trust my Ricky, I know he can never do that. You're just jealous of me that Ricky is your prom date but his heart beats for me."

"Fine ." She said and left immediately. I went to Nicole and told her about everything. Fine, I trust my guy but Nicole is my beastie so I obviously had to tell her everything.

"Alexa, Ivy used to love Ricky but she only loved him due to his popularity and money. She cheated on Ricky with this middle aged guy called Lewis. When Ricky found out, he started distancing himself from her and she didn't care. She kept going out with Lewis, kissing him and one day, they even had s*x. When Ricky found out, he was furious and he broke up with her on Valentines day."

" Oh my God, Ivy is actually jealous of me. "

In the evening.....

As I was going home, I found Ricky working out at the gym. I didn't want to look but my eyes were attracted by his breathe taking body. He saw me and waved looking at me. He started moving towards me and I ran quickly but he ran after me . After chasing me for quite a while, he caught me and gave me a behind hug. I was buried in his chest, I felt so safe in his hands and I said,

"Ricky, I need to go home. Or else my....."
