As the news of the suspect's arrest spread, Elizabeth and Jonathan received a flurry of phone calls and messages from their friends and family, congratulating them on their success.

But amidst all the excitement, Elizabeth couldn't help but feel a nagging sense of doubt. She had a gnawing feeling that there was something missing, something they had overlooked.

The man approached them and introduced himself as a private investigator. "I couldn't help but notice your detective skills at the trial," he said. "I think we could make a great team."

Elizabeth and Jonathan exchanged a look. They were both intrigued by the prospect of working with another detective, but they were also wary of this stranger's intentions.

"What kind of cases do you usually work on?" Elizabeth asked, trying to gauge his experience.

The man smiled. "All kinds, really. But I specialize in missing persons cases. I've been in the business for a long time, and I know how to find people."
