Chapter 33We had arrived at Blood-Mark-Boy’s cavern in desperate straits at the beginning of the Moon of Changing Seasons. My wound healed faster once I knew Bear would survive. Blood’s skill had spared me the infection that often comes with bullet wounds. I would regain my health, although I noticed a stiffness in my side that had not been there before. Because I could not easily reach the exit wound on my back, I suffered Blood’s touch to apply potions and medications.
