Chapter 92: lines in the sand

1479 Words

Izzy’s POV I stared at my phone. For a very long time that my eyes started to hurt me. Killian's message was still there on the screen. It was glowing in the dark room. My chest was hurting so bad. Like my heart was so close to coming out of my body. “Meet me. Please. I need you.” I swallowed hard, my fingers shaking above the screen. I wanted to answer. You have had enough chances.” I pressed the power button beside my phone. Shutting the phone off. Before I could change my mind. The dark room wrapped around me. Heavy. And cold. I rolled to my side on the bed. And I was hugging my pillow. Like it was able to keep me safe.
