Izzy’s POV
I walked away from the field. And I entered back into the school building. I was still feeling the heat of everything that happened in the field.
I went to the bathroom first. Changed out of my sweaty P.E. clothes, splashed water on my face, and tried to calm down the blush still stuck there from Killian’s teasing. Ugh. That boy was going to ruin me.
Then I headed to class.
I was late. Of course.
Once the teacher saw me at the door:m. Her voice was louder than the whole class as a whole. She called out to me. “Get to your seat, Williams. You’re late.”
I almost fainted. I did not like it when everyone’s attention was on me. You know that kind of attention when you come to class late and everyone has to watch you walk to your seat.
