I and Sarah had been sitting at the wooden chairs that were kept in the middle of the mall for up to twenty minutes now, and Izzy wasn’t back yet. I started to become restless because I was tired, and we needed to get back to our dorm rooms before it was time for our dorm check.
The milkshake we got had gotten warm, the fries were already moist, and Izzy was still nowhere to be found.
I looked over at Shantel. She was scrolling through her i********: like everything was okay, but I could see the way her brows carved into a frown like she was also starting to get uncomfortable.
