I had waited so long to hear those words from her. And now she was here in my room… saying them out loud. Saying the very words that I had been dying to hear for months.
Before she could even blink, I moved in and kissed her hard, like my life depended on it.
I forgot Izzy was standing right there in the room. I didn’t care. Nothing else mattered in that moment except Kayla.
