I wade through the crowd of students, all the while being sure to stay out of sight of Aiden, who, may or may not be trying to get to me.
Only when I reach the lunchline and grab my tray do I risk a glance in the direction I left him and when I don’t see him or Lydia and her goonie, I feel a bit of relief move through me.
Hopefully, this meant that he wouldn’t bother me for the rest of the day. Honestly, as much as I hated the hostility that Austin was giving me, I’d prefer that from Aiden in place of what he was doing, especially since it was unnecessary.
