Then he smiled coldly. "You've been with me for years. You really think you can walk away? You think your parents would let you walk away from a rare catch like me? Or have you already found someone else?"
I looked at him, my face blank. "None of that. I just don't love you anymore."
Garrett was furious. "Fine! Great! Don't come crying and begging me to take you back like last time!"
He yanked the door open and slammed it behind him.
