Chapter Nine:

Lizzy POV

After brent left i met with he girls into the rec room and i sat down and they came over and sat with me and i explain what been going on and I’m pregnant and they all hugged me and they all said they have my back and will keep me safe. I said thank you and we went on with our evening of pool, ping pong, etc. the boys come into the rec room and brent went up and pull me into him and kissed me and i said “hey babe, whats wrong” he said “did u feel anything” i said “no” he says “thank god” he lifts me up and carry’s me to his room  and lays me down on the bed and he comes and lays next to me and pulling me into his arms and he tells me what happen tonight. I pull him into a hug and i said “baby i know this isn’t your fault we need to take them down” he says “ i know we had the followed after she left and what been reported it isn’t looking good, Kendal wolf is getting out of control he practically r**e her” i said “well what she did to you she r**e you” he looks at me with sad eyes and he says “ babe I don’t think she was in her right state i felt something was clouding her judgement and yes i am mad she took advantage of me and i like you to stay clear from Kendal” i said “okay babe, i will stay away” we both close our eyes and let sleep take us both over.

Next morning

Lizzy POV 

I wake up and see my mate still sleeping, so i got out of his hold and headed out of his room to mine and once i got there i took a shower and got clean clothes on and my phone goes off. I pick it up and read the txt

Private number: meet me by the pool in 15 min

Me: who is this

Private Number: please, i wont hurt you just meet me

ME: ok 

I put my phone down and put my hair up in a loose bun and put my phone in my pocket and headed to the pool when i arrived i heard her says “hey can we talk” and i turn to look at her and i notice she looks pale and had dark circle around her eyes i said “ok, what do you want” she says “I’m sorry i went on your mate last night, i didn’t know what i was doing, it was wrong, and it will never happen” i said “really, you better be glad I don’t punch you” she says “i appreciate if you don’t” i said “ i heard what happen after that and are you okay? Is the baby ok?” She looks at me shocked and she studders out “wwhhhaattt, hoow, did did you know what happen” i said “Kendal is being watch very careful and the tracker didn’t watch the whole thing just the stuff he did” she says “oh, well I’m ok and the baby is too, I’m here for a truce I don’t know what came over me and I don’t want brent i really wanted my mate but when you came back everything been kinda a haze here and there” i said “ is it when Kendal wolf comes out” she says “yeah Actually, he been great these few months and once his wolf started coming out i get into some faze and i end up obsessing about brent” i said “after breakfast please meet me in my room i am bring my friends and we going to find out what been happing to you” she says “thank you, I don’t deserve this, i plan on stopping Markus, Kendal wolf and leaving” i put my hands on her shoulder and pull her to look at me and said “NO, whatever he has backing him, you can not stop, please meet me in my room” she says “ok” i nodded and a link comes in and brent ask “where are you” i said “by the pool” and he said “be there in 10” i looked at Melissa and said “go have breakfast i meet you after” she says “thank you and walks into the pack house” and as i turn to walk the same way brent ingulfs me into a hug and asked “did she bother you” i said “no, actually the opposite” he says “really why” i said “i think she being controlled and what been happening hasn’t been her fault” and brent says “WHAT THE HELL, she could be lying” i said “maybe, the only way to find out is has kass do her thing” brent nods and i said “breakfast lets got” we walked into the pack house and head to the table and they started serving breakfast and after breakfast brent kisses my forehead and said “i got to go do this meeting with lance and landon, will you be ok” i said “yup” he kisses my forehead again and says “love you” i said “love you” and he gets up and walks away with the other guys, i link the girls to meet me in my room and they said ok. I get up and walked to the stairs and i saw Kendal talking to Melissa he is whisper something in her ear and looks over at me smiling and i looked away  and went upstairs and once i reach my room i walk in and the girls are there then a knock was on my door i turn open the door and it’s Melissa. I pull her in fast and closed my door and locked it and walked her to the chair and we sat on the couch and kass says “why is she here” i said “kass your powers will tell if she has been under a spell, potion, or any dark magic” kass says “ohh, so you think what she been doing hasn’t been her fault” i said “yes” kass says “alright lets get this started” kass walks over and puts a chair in front of Melissa and she puts both her hand on her head and chest and she started glowing pink, i was like wow, 10 min later she pulls away and Melissa was in a white glow like she was a ghost and once the white glow disappear she open her eyes and we looked at her, her eyes cloud over and came back and kass gets up and stands and i said “SO, whats the verdict” kass says “i went through her whole memory and she was under a spell a powerful back magic, 2 weeks ago she was in Kendal house and he asked if she wanted something to drink she says yes and he comes back with tea and she drinks it she started glowing red, and few seconds it disappear and that second she says “MATE” and Kendal took her to the room  and you know what wolf do when they are mated” i said “what else” kass says “thats when the hazed started her wolf was put at bay until now, its like Melissa here was under some potion spell connection to Kendal wolf, he was controlling her 98% the job, her obsession with brent, and the last 2 weeks that has happen” i said “so is she still” kass says “no, i lifted that off of her and she is back to normal” and we look at Melissa and she says “thank you, I’m so sorry guys i never wanted to hurt anyone or do anything of this my wolf is wining right now how she failed me” i walk to her and put my hand on her shoulder and i told my wolf Lara to speak to hers and Lara says “ok” i closed my eyes Lara says “hello” the other wolf doesnt respond still whimpering i walk over and put my head on her and said “not your fault, we need you to help us take down who ever is behind this” her wolf calms down and says “yes alpha, i am sorry I couldn’t protect her and now she is pregnant with that wolf pup” Lara says “no worries, even if she was tricked we will be here for you and her” she says “thank you alph, I’m in it until the end” i said “good, stop beating yourself up and lets end this” Lara says “lizzy lets get started” i open my eyes and Melissa eyes open too and she says “thank you” i said “no problem, now girls lets get a game plan going” we went to the table and spend the morning getting a game plan together. I look at my phone and saw it was noon i looked up and said “time for lunch lets go we don’t need to burn out” they all nodded and headed out and i said “ill be down in a min” they said “ok only a min any longer we coming to get you” i laughed and said “ok” i went to the bathroom and did my business and as i walked out i heard a voice say “hello darling” i looked over and i growled at the person sitting on my couch and said “WHAT are you doing here” he stands up and walks over and I step back and he smiles and looks at me and says “don’t your remember what you said to me 6 years ago” i said “yes but i repaid you back and i will never do that again” he says “oh,really, what about Kendal, him and that girl i got under my control, whatever happens to them its all has to do with you, shouldn’t disappear on me” i gave him the disgusting look and said “yeah well i have a life to then having you try to claim me, IM a alpha female, my moon goddess didn’t pair me with you” he grabs my chin and says “i killed my beloved to be with you, you wanted love and I gave that to you for 2 years, you gave yourself to me must” my eyes go big and i growled and said “is it my fault you killed her? No that was you, get over yourself, i am marked and mated, back off now and let them two go and see if you have a second chance” he says “NO, its you or no one els” as i started walking to the door he grabs my arms pulls me to him and stick me with a needle and before i can fight him darkness took over me.

Kass POV

We get downstairs and my body started glowing pink and that I dedicated dark magic, i start following the energy and it lead me to lizzy room and once i touched the door handle it disappears, my glow fades and i open the door and i said “lizzy you okay?” No answer so i said again “lizzy where are you” dead quiet and i walked over by the bed and felt light dark magic and when i looked down onto the bed there was a black envelope, i picked it up and open it, as i open it, the magic on it threw me against the wall and before i standed up the guys and other rushed in lance pulled me up he says “what happen” i said “that envelope knock me into this wall” he turns and looks at it and said “its protected from white magic” i said “well duh figure that out after it threw me” brent picks it up and it doesnt do anything he opens and he goes to his knee and i said “what brent what did it says” he hands me the letter it says:

I have your beloved Elizabeth. She belongs to me, always have and always will, who ever is reading this note is will keep her baby safe if you don’t come looking for us, if so she dies along the mutt in her. Once she gives birth, I will have someone deliver the baby to her mate, good luck finding us, sorry she promise herself to me, take this as a warning.

I put the letter down and i looked at everyone and said he has her. Lance looked at me shocked and brent said “who has her” i said “sawyer priess” brent says “WHAT, I thought we distory him” i said “apparently he has a son the same age as us. Brent gets up and walks out of the room and my brother and landon went after him, Melissa and julia come up to me and i said “we have a lot more work on our hands then we thought, we need to save her and destroy him” julia says “why, shouldn’t he be powerless” i said “he should of been, he shouldn’t even got this close to her, and after we destroy his dad his powers should of disappeared to” Melissa says “what do we do” i said “only thing to do, julia contact your brother and ill contact phoebe” julia says “on it” she leave her room and i said “Melissa keep your appearance going he doesnt know i broke the spell you maybe able to see where he is hiding out” she says “ok” i grab her phone and place a tracker in it and she leave the room i mindlink phoebe and said “he is back” she says “who” i said “SP” she says “WHAT, we destroy him” i said “I know but he had a son a jr. we are now going after him he has lizzy and she is pregnant phoebe” phoebe says “on my way” i close the link went to my room, open the wall and i open the safe, pulled out the file and close the safe and locked it. Went to the meeting room and made copies. 10 minutes later lunch was brought in and phoebe runs in and pulls me into a hug and i show her the picture of the guy who took lizzy, phoebe says “oh MY god he looks just like him” i said “yeah i know” i put the picture on the board and once i did everyone came in and took a seat. Me and phoebe stay at the front of the table and we both look at each other and explain everything.
