Chapter Thirteen:

2 weeks later

Brent POV

After our love making i wrap my mate up in my arms and i whisper “i love you” in her ear she turns and whispers “i love you too” i said lets get some rest before Anthony wakes up.she says “ok baby” i pull her into my arms and we both let sleep take us over. I woke up to the sun seeping through the crack of the curtains and looked down at my mate, she is still curled up in my arms. I check out the time and it was already 10a. I slowly moved out of her embrace and put a pair of sweats on and walked over next door to check on Anthony i so didn’t hear him crying the rest of the night, as i walked in lizzy parents where just finishing changing him and i said “oh hey” they said “hey, did we wake you” i said “no I didn’t hear him crying through the night” they look at each other and smiled and said “between us and your parents we been taking care of him” i said “wow thank you, didn’t need to” my dad and mom walks in and says “baby, it was an honor to do so, you and lizzy needed this time to connect again and i was thinking on taking the little guy back to our place for the night so you guys can have a lovely evening we put together for you two” i looked back at lizzy parents and they are all smiling i said “thats super nice of you, but can i really accept that offer” lizzy dad says “its an order son” i bow and said “yes, alpha” he says “good, we don’t want to hear any buts from you and lizzy” my mom says “i have your old room set up for Anthony” i said “thats sounds good, i see you guys tomorrow right” my mom says “yes after lunch i take him back with me and please let lizzy know, i know she wants to spend all this time with him but you both been through a lot and need to take this time together and tomorrow he is all yours” i feel lizzy put her head on my back and says “sounds good mom, you can take him whenever you want that goes for my parents too” i spend around and said “are you sure” she says “yes, we do need this time together and Anthony is in great hands” i pulled her to me and kissed her forehead and turn back to her parent and mine and said “ok, you are on baby duty” they smile and i walked my mate back to my room and she says “i need to go to my room and change and shower” i said “of course, ill do the same meet me at lunch?” She says “yes meet you downstairs” she kisses my lips and walked out my room and i linked lance and asked if that house was finished yet and he link back “yeah, they finished yesterday” i linked “thank you, i love living in the pack house but we need something for us” he says “no problem and plus your 5 min away” i said “yeah your right lol, still have space and not away from here” he says “see you at lunch” i closed the link and went into the bathroom and got myself cleaned and dressed for lunch.

Lizzy POV

After listening to my parent and his i pitch in my approval and we went back to brents room and i told him i needed to go to my room to get cleaned and stuff. I kiss him goodbye and headed out. Once i reach my room I walked in and i looked around missing this room of mine i walked to my vanity and there was a note:

This pendant sitting on your vanity is from phoebe and kassandra, they said this will protect you from dark magic, they design it just for you, i hope you like it.

Your brother

I put down the note and i saw the pendant on the vanity i picked up and it was beautiful, it was exactly what i would want in a necklace it had 10k white god chain, with purple crystal shape as forever design, and around it diamonds, i put it down  and rush into the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth and headed out of my room i sit at my vanity and put the necklace on i looks perfect on my tan skin, i unwrap my towel in my hair and blow dry it i put on my make up and once i was done i walked into my closet and put on a soft purple summer dress and my flats and i walked out and look at myself in the mirror i turn and notice how the necklace has a hint of a glow. I finish looking at myself and headed down for lunch, once i reach the dinning area its just my family and friends and I said “where is everyone” lance says “this is just for us today” i said “ok” brent walk up hugs me and says “you look very beautiful” i said “thank you” kass says “the necklace is perfect” phoebe says “its working too” i said “yes it’s beautiful and thank you i feel the energy from it” kass says “thats because when brent re marked you, you got some of our power like we would do when we mark our mates and the necklace is feeling that little power in you” i looked back at brent and he says “i was the bait and they gave me powers to extra protect me and when i saw you again I couldn’t stop myself and plus that would of erase his marking and black powers in you” i kissed him on the lips and said “sounds rational lets eat” i went to sit down and brent sat next to me. Once we where seated our lunch was served and we all dig in. After i finished brent stands and helps me up. He says “excuse us, mom and dad have a good day with Anthony” my mom says “always son, you may not get him back” we both laugh at that and yeah my mom would steal him and claim him if she could. We walked out the back door and down a path before reaching the house i said “close your eyes” she says “why” i said “there’s a surprise” she says “ok” i watch her close her eyes and i place a blind fold over her eyes and grab her hand i walked her to the front of the house and i said “ok i am going to take the blind fold off and tell me what you think” she says “ok” i take her blind fold off and she opens her eyes and grasp, she looks at me and back to the house and says “this is amazing, is this ours” he says “yes, want to look inside” i said “yes, please” we walk to the front door to a beautiful 2 story 3 car garage house. Once we enter the place is already furnished and the living room is perfect to my design. Wait how did he know what i wanted my house looks like. He says “tayla gave me your blue print to how you would like your house to be” i looked at him and said “your amazing, you know that” he says “i try to be, i know you wanted to design this hands on but i did have your second best at it” i kissed his lips and said “remind me to call her and thank her, wait what do you mean my second best” he says “we got your guys business started up” i said “really” he says “yes, this was the first project, we took before and after pictures and we be posting it to your business website” i said “wow did expect that, how did you know you get me back home” he smiles and doesnt say anything we finish the tour of the 6 bedroom 7 and half bathroom home, every room has there own bathroom and down stairs has a bathroom off from the living room, i turn and tooled at brent and got on my tippy toes and kissed brent lips and i said “this is perfect when do we get to move in” he says “today” i said “Really” he says “yes, our things will be here tomorrow, but i did have the girls bring you a set of clothes and nightwear” i said “such ahead thinker” he smiles picks me up and i wrap my legs around him we headed to our mast bedroom for some fun.

Kassandra POV

Once  brent and lizzy left i went up to my office and phoebe was waiting and i said “you think that necklace be enough” she says “yes sister, she isn’t just protected by it but some of powers that are in her forever” i said “good, because she she deserve to be safe” phoebe says “she will always be safe, we got rid of the king of black magic and we will do whatever we can to make sure we keep this world safe” i said “sounds like a journey to me. We are the protectors and our kids will keep the responsibilities going after we are old and grey” phoebe laughs and says “your damn right” we finish out talk and she heads out of my office to go back to her pack and i started the mountain of papers on my desk.

Brent POV

After our day laying in bed in each other arms it was 6pm i got out and lizzy says “where you going” i said “get ready i am taking you out” she gets up and heads into the bathroom  and i head my walk-in closet put a pair of Demi jeans and a shirt on and my socks and shoes as i walked out of my closet, lizzy walks out of hers in a knee high dress and flats, she walks to the vanity and put her make up and i just sat there and watch her. She glances over and says “what” i said “nothing, just looking at my beautiful mate” she blushes and puts her lipgloss on and stand up and says “ready handsome” i said “yes beautiful” she walks over grabs my hand and we headed out the bedroom and down the stair i walk her to the door to the garage and i open the door and turn on the light i walk her to the suv and open the door and help her in i closed the door. I walk over get in and open the garage and started the suv. She asks “where are we going” i said “its a surprise”  she doesn’t say anything else i pull out of the garage and closed the door to it and i drove us into the city. Hour later we get to our destination. I pull up to valet parking and got my mate out and i escort in. We walk to the elevator and hit the top floor once the door opens we get in and waited once the elevator ding the door open and i grab my mates waist and walked out of the elevator. We walk up to the hostess and she ask reservations i said mansion she says right this way. We follow her to a window table she places the menu down and went and grab us glasses of water comes back and said “the server will be right with u”. I said “thank you” she says “no problem” then walks away. Our server shows up i order a bottle of wine and place a appetizer she says “ill be right back” i nodded and looked at my mate she is looking outside the window and taking in the city lights, i say “are you okay” she says “yes, this is sweet of you and this view is beautiful” i said “anything for a woman like you” she blushes and the waiter comes back with our wine pour us a glass once she walks away i get up from my seat and walk over to my mate i got on one knee and said “lizzy, you are my everything,  you are the mother of my child and future children, i loved you the minute you where standing outside your house when i pulled up with my sister and her friend, i cant get you out of my mind, i do anything for you, i take a bullet for you, and i love waking up next to you and kissing you good night every night, i want to ask you will you marry me? Will you do the honors and be my wife? You will make me the happiest man alive” she looks at me with tears about to run down her face and before i got to stand to wipe them away she says “yes, yes, yes, i do” she stands and i stand i plant a loving kiss on her lips as i pull away i wipe her tears, i put the ring on her finger and said “this is our beginning, no one cant stop us now” she says “thats right, i love you” i said “i love you too” i kiss her again and i sit down  and she does the same, we clink our glass took a small sip and she looks down to her finger will a happy smile plaster on her face until our waiter showed up with the first dish we order we place our main meal and the waiter walks away and we enjoy this evening together.

Lizzy POV

Brent took me to this 5 star restaurant it was beautiful. As our wine shows up he gets up from his seat and proposes to me. He doesn’t have to we are stuck together forever since we are mates but i am happy he asked. I say “yes, yes, yes, i do” he puts the beautiful purple sapphire with diamonds around it and on the band on my finger and i stand and he kisses me passionately and tears fall out of my eyes and he pulls away and wipes them off and kisses me one more time. I sit and he does the same. Our first dish comes out and we dig in before that we order our main meal and enjoy each other’s company. Once we finish eating and drinking, brent gets up and pays for the meal and leave a good tip, he stands and walks to me and helps me to stand, we walked to to elevator and down to the main floor and out the front door. We waited for our suv to show up and once it does he opens the door i get in and he gets in the driver side and we headed back to the house. I walked in after parking into the garage. I go to the kitchen and pull out another wine and pour us both a glass and headed into the living room, brent turns on the gas fireplace and we talked and enjoy company until i fell asleep on him. I jolt up from my sleep and looked at the time its 5am and i look over and brent is still sleeping i lay back down and says “are you ok” i said “yeah had a bad dream” he says “yeah, what was it” he sits up and i sit back up and said “i was back at that place and 2 months pregnant” he growls and pull me to him and says “that will never happen and he is dead” i cuddle into him and said “i know, i hope these nightmares go away” he says “they will, give it time” we go back to sleep and when i open my eyes again its 9am, brent is running his hand through my hair and i look up at him  and kiss him passionately, he kisses me back and i push him onto his back, and i get on top of him i lean down and kissed him again as our heated kiss got more heated i felt his man hood get hard i pull away from the kiss and i grab it and guid it to my center i lift myself of and lower myself onto him. He growls at the movement and once he was fully in me i started rocking my hips, i start slowly and progress faster he moves his hips up and down moving in and out of me while I’m rocking on him, we go for an hour on love making and just before i reach climax i lover my head to his move his neck and bite down on his mark i pull away and lick it clean as he release himself in me he bends my neck and bite into my mark, that just sent me to my release, he pumps his hip a few more times to ride out his high and i lower my head once he was done and i said “the best ever after being fiancé’s” he says “yeah that was my future wife” i sit my head up and plant a kiss on him and went with round two. Hours later we get cleaned up and dressed and headed to the pack house we walk in to have lunch with everyone and brent mom is holding Anthony and all i can do is smile she walks over and says  “he is changed and fed, i am putting him in the other room so the nanny’s can watch him while we eat” i said “sounds good to me, you are relieved from baby duties” she smiles and goes and sit down. I sit next to brent and he stand once everyone has arrived and announce we are are engaged. Everyone clapped and holler, congrats, and i stand and we both bow and brent takes me into a lovely kiss, we release our kiss and sit back down  and kass says “so lizzy when you decide on the day we will on pitch in to help” i said “alright” she smiles and lunch was coming out.
