Chapter 2

When Antoneo stops in front of a medium-sized house, all of them stop walking behind him. Leigh looks behind her, making sure that Neo, Daniel, Ash, and Julia are behind her. When she sees all four of them, are there she looks at Antoneo. Hw turns around and smiles. "This is my place. Let's go inside." Antoneo turns back around and starts walking to the door, unloking it and steps aside to let them in. Ash, Daniel, and Julia walk in, but Leigh and Neo wait for prometion. (It's a vampire thing) Antoneo sees this and gives her and Neo approval to walk in. As he does, Leigh and Neo walk in, Antoneo following them inside and closes the door behind him. He looks at all five of them. "If you all don't mind, I would like to get to know you all." Leigh looks at Antoneo then at her pack. The four of them nod. She then looks back at Antoneo. "Yeah, sure. Where do we sit to start?" Antoneo leads them to the living room, where they all sit down on the verity of couches. Leigh preticularly sits on the same couch as Antoneo, but on the other end of the couch. As they all sit down, Antoneo looks at Leigh without her noticing. He looks at her, her beauty captivating to him. The other four notices this and smirks. Antoneo looks away and then asks. "If you all don't mind me asking... how old are you all?" Neo speaks up first. "I'm 18." Ash then speaks. "I'm 17." Then Daniel, "I'm also 17." Julia speaks."I'm 16." Antoneo looks at the four of them, then at Leigh, waiting for her to answer. She sighs, "I'm 19... the oldest of the group and the alpha... but you already knew that." Antoneo looks at Leigh stocked. "I thought you'd be 18 or something. I mean, not saing it in a mean way."

Leigh looks at him, "And you? How old are you?" Antoneo clears his throat then speaks, "I'm 19, turning 20." She looks at him, surprised, "Wait... you're turning 20?" Antoneo nods, "Yes." She looks at him and notices he's human. "Hey... can I ask you a quick question?" Antoneo looks at her, "Yeah, sure." Leigh hesitates for a second but then speaks, "Are you human? I mean, I'm just curious." Antoneo sighs. The other four waited for him to answer. "Yes...yes I am." He finally answers. Leigh looked at him, while the others seemed to hesitate about trusting him. She senses this and looks at them, then back at Antoneo. "Hey... it's fine. I'm sorry for asking." She said in sympathy. Antoneo looks at her. "No... it's alright. You had the right to ask that question." He replies with understanding. She looks down then at the other four. "We... had a bad experience with humans." She replied. Antoneo looks at the other four with sympathy and then back at Leigh, who's looking down. "I'm so sorry about that. I can understand the trust issues now."

Before Leigh could say anything. Neo speaks up. "How do we know we can trust you?" Leigh looks up at Neo and growls. Once again, before she could speak, Antoneo replies. "I know I need to earn trust from all of you. But I can promise you this... I don't, and never will hurt any of you. You have my word." Leigh looks at Antoneo as he said that. The other four look at her, waiting for her to say something. She sighs, "He's right... if he wanted to hurt us... he would've already. So I'll keep him to his word." The other four looks surprised, and Daniel speaks. "You're not serious, right? Do you not remember what humans did to us... to you?!" He yells. Leigh looks at Daniel, giving him the look that says, "Shut your mouth." Leigh speaks. "I do... but not all are the same... plus, like I said... if he wanted to hurt us, he would've already." She says sternly yet calm.

Antoneo looks at her. "Your alpha... I mean Leigh's right. If I did want to hurt you... I would've already." Daniel instantly was left speechless. Leigh looks at Antoneo feeling great full... and a feeling... she's never felt... before. Julia could feel and see that other emotion. She instantly smiled. I'm glad that her sister is finally feeling that emotion of love. Leigh feels Julia's eyes on her, then immediately berries that emotion away again. Julia looks at her, the smile on her face gone now. Antoneo looks between Leigh and Julia, trying to figure out what's happening. And why Julia was smiling a second ago. Neo and Daniel look at Leigh, knowing exactly why Julia was smiling a second ago. Leigh looks away, not saying anything. Antoneo looks at Leigh, confused and concerned. Neo breaks the silence. "Hey... uh... Antoneo. Do you mind showing us our rooms?" Antoneo looks at Neo and nods. "Yeah, sure. Follow me." He replied and stood up from the couch, signaling everyone to follow him.

They all stand up, including Leigh. They follow Antoneo down the hall. He points to each of their rooms as they walk. Neo walks to his room. So does Ash walk to hers. And Daniel to his. And Julia to her own. Leigh was the only one left. Antoneo walks to the room she'll be staying in next to his. "Here’s yours, Leigh." She nods. "Thanks, I'll see you later then." She said as she opened the door and walked in. Closing the door behind her. "Yeah... see you later." Antoneo replies while she closses the door. Ash peaks her head out and smirks. She can see Antoneo is already falling for her Alpha. She walks out as Antoneo walks back to the living room. She still has the smirk on her face. "Hey, Antoneo!" She calls out to him. Antoneo looks at Ash. "Yeah?" He asks while looking confused. Ash smirks. "It seems like you're already falling for her, huh?" She asks with a hint of teasing in her tone.
