Chapter 3: Blossoming Love Craig's heart raced as Eric leaned in, their lips meeting in a soft, gentle kiss. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the magic of their first kiss. As they pulled back, Eric smiled, his eyes sparkling with happiness. "I've been wanting to do that all day," he said, his voice low and husky. Craig blushed, feeling a flutter in his chest. "I've been wanting you to," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. Their relationship blossomed like a flower in spring. They spent every spare moment together, exploring the city, trying new foods, and laughing until their sides hurt. Craig felt like he had found his soulmate in Eric, someone who understood him like no one else. As they strolled through the park one afternoon, Eric turned to Craig with a serious expression. "Hey, I need to tell you something. I've been thinking... I want to take you to meet my family." Craig's heart skipped a beat. Meeting the family was a big step, but he was ready. "I'd love to," he said, trying to sound calm. Eric grinned, relief washing over his face. "Great! They'll love you, I know it." The day of the family meeting arrived, and Craig's nerves were on edge. Eric's family lived in a cozy house on the outskirts of town, surrounded by lush greenery and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As they walked in, Craig was enveloped in a warm hug by Eric's mother, a kind-eyed woman with a radiant smile. His father, a tall, imposing figure with a gentle face, shook his hand firmly. The rest of the family welcomed him with open arms, making him feel like part of the family. Over dinner, they asked him questions, laughed at his jokes, and made him feel like he belonged. Craig knew in that moment that he was exactly where he was meant to be – with Eric, and his loving family. As they drove home, Eric turned to him, his eyes shining with happiness. "So, what did you think? Did they scare you off?" Craig chuckled, feeling a sense of belonging. "Not at all. I loved them. They're amazing, just like you." Eric smiled, his face glowing with love. "I'm so glad you feel that way, Craig. Because I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy." Craig's heart soared, like a bird taking flight. He knew in that moment that he felt the same way, and their love would last a lifetime. (To be continued in Chapter 4)
