Considering the size of the mansion, I was at all surprised to learn the number of servants that worked there. There were a few who commuted to the household and back to the town, but the majority of them lived in the mansion, their quarters being on the floor below ground. Each servant had their own task to tend to daily. There were gardeners who worked specifically on the garden in the front yard along with the lawns.
