The dining area was set up in an open room on the other side of the house. A glass wall facing the backyard was set up with the glass doors opened to allow some fresh air to enter the room. Five tables were set up and most of them were filled with children. There were more of them as opposed to the ten I had seen at the lobby earlier. There weren't enough seats to occupy everyone, so arrangements were made for meals: the children took one hour in the morning to eat breakfast first, followed by the older kids in the next hour, and while everyone else was getting prepared for the day, the maids went upstairs to tend to the smaller children who would then be waking up.
