The car ride back to the Middlemist Mansion was a quick and uncomfortable one, especially for me as I had slept through most of the ride with my head uncomfortly propped, rested on Sebastian's lap. The boy was not too thrilled by the idea of having nothing much to do for two whole hours then to peer out the window to watch the night sky and the countryside landscape. We had left early in the morning so that we could reach the mansion at dawn per Sebas' orders. He wanted to get accustomed to the new living area as soon as possible.
