Chapter 10 “We’re almost done, Michael.” Adam huffed as he lifted the next bag of seeds over his shoulder and started toward the last back acre from the house, back and hips aching from the weight. Pumpkins seeds were light and airy in little handfuls or small bags, but the grain sacks were just as heavy as wheat bales, no question. There was no answer behind him, so Adam looked back. Michael had lifted a sack over his shoulder, almost no effort was evident on his angel, no strain at all. Adam rolled his eyes, but grinned. Michael grinned back with an expectant look.
