Rykers point of view
After I went through the portal, I started getting everyone settled in. We made the meeting place a few miles from our pack's territory just in case we had some stragglers follow through the portals. I didn't like leaving Lea behind, but we had gotten everyone except the one person she stayed behind with. I knew they would want some alone time to catch p, and I knew Lea can take care of herself. It didn't make me worry any less about leaving her, but she knows the plan. As I look around I notice hundreds of people standing around trying to figure out what comes next. Taking the lead in her absence, I lift up with my wings and hover over the crowd so they can hear and see me better.
