(Maria POV)
Both of them changed back to their human forms and stared at my face. My whole body was shivering with fear and anger. Xavier looked at me with his body covered in blood, bite marks, and claw marks. Luca wasn’t looking any better, but he had fewer marks on his body.
“I will come back… for you, Mio Fiore,” He said, and jumped out of the window and got lost in the air. Luca clenched his fists in anger and looked towards me.
“What was he doing in your room?” He asked in a calm voice, but I could see the rage bubbling inside his veins.
“Ask yourself. He warned me that both of you are trying to deceive me with this matebond story. I don’t know why he said but tell me, Luca… what was he trying to say, and who is he?” I asked, and both of them exchanged glances with each other.
