The Abused Lycan and Her Mates

Chapter 3

Michael POV

I leave her alone in the room and head out to call Xander. I don’t know if I can stay undercover any longer. I was close to killing them and needed to tell Xander is they continue the torture, I would kill everyone of them. My lycan was on edge and wanted blood for hurting a young woman like that. The look in her eyes haunt me. They were dead and lifeless. She gave up completely and was waiting for death to take her.

As soon as I reach the trees I call Xander. “You never call outside of our schedule times. What’s up?” he asks me. “It’s bad. I am having a hard time keeping my lycan under control this time.” I tell him as I lean against the tree. “Mike, Gabriel and Cameron are on there way. They left this morning but if you need to get her out sooner, then do it. I trust you decision. All that I ask is that you call me when you reach the safe point” Xander says before we end the call. I take a deep breath and head back to the house. We are just on the outskirts of the northern wolf pack. I am to meet up there with Gabriel and his team in two days but I don’t know if I can wait that long.

I walk back into the room and the guys there are drinking again. “Mikey, was that your girl again?” one of the vamps asked. “Yeah. You know how needy they can be. Bang them one time and think that you love them” I say joking as I take the beer, they offer me. I sit down and take a sip while trying to keep my lycan under control.

After a couple of hours, I hear a scream and I have to close my eyes to keep my lycan in check. “We kill now” he growls before he comes forward and starts on a killing spree. When we reach the room that the girl is locked in, I see Sean standing there looking at her on the ground. He is the second in command and I know I have to fight him to get her out of here a live.

I step into the room and he grins at me. “So you really are the traitor here” he says before hissing at me. I lounge at him and he manages to get me with the blade on my arm. I growl at him as I grab him by the throat. I squeeze until I feel his neck snap. Some second in command he was. A vampire that has fed recently and is older should be able to go toe to toe with a lycan but he was weak.

I make sure to light his body on fight before I pick up the girl. She is a mess and lost a lot of blood. I can barely hear her heart rate and her breathing is shallow. I know that the other team will be here in two days but when I heard her scream, I knew I had to do something. I was going to be in trouble for this.

As I walk through the house, I make sure I set it ablaze so all evidence is covered up if they send a scout from the main base of operation. I watch as the place burns before I start to make my way to the wolf pack. I try to be careful as I carry the girl in my arms. She moans in pain every time she moves and I can feel a broken rib, maybe two when I shift her in my arms.

After an hour of walking, I reach the boarder of the pack. There are a few warriors waiting there when I approach them. “State your business lycan” one says. I just chuckle and let my aura seep out. They flinch and step back as I cross the border. “I am Michael. Your alpha and beta should know why I am here. I am two days early and need to get this girl to a hospital fast” I tell them and then a bigger man comes forward. “I am sorry for the rudeness of my warriors. I am Beta Lucas of the Silver Moon pack. Please come this way.” I nod my head and follow him.

Once we arrive at the hospital, the doctor and nurse take the girl right away and get to work. I sit in the waiting room and call Xander. “Michael” he says in a sleepy voice. “I am sorry Alpha but I had to move early. She was barely alive when I reached the pack. I set everything on fire and killed the second in command along with the other four that was placed there.” I tell him and wait for the yelling.

I hear him sigh before he talks. “Michael, I trust your choice but I need you to call Prince Gabriel and tell him plans changed. They should be there tomorrow afternoon.” He tells me. I sigh not wanting to tell them they came for nothing. “Alright. I will call them as soon as we hang up” I tell Xander. “Mike, you did good.” He tells me before he hangs up. I sigh not wanting to call Gabriel.

I dial his number and on the third ring he answers. “Beta Michael, what is going on?” he says with a worried tone. “I am sorry to inform you but I had to act early. The girl was in really bad shape and I am waiting to hear from the doctor.” I tell him. I hear a low growl and freeze. “Sorry. My beast has been on edge ever since we left.” Gabriel says. “I don’t blame you. It was a risky situation with a girl involved.” I tell him and he lets out a sigh. “How is she? What happened?” he asked me. I went into detail about that evening and what I saw when I found her.

Before I could say anything more the doctor came into the waiting room. “Prince Gabriel, I will tell you more when you arrive tomorrow afternoon. The doctor just came out and has an update.” I tell him. “I will see you in 10 hours Michael.” He says before we hang up. I turn my attention to the doctor.

“Beta Michael, the girl is very weak but she is will make it. She is going to need a lot of rest and when she wakes up some good food. She looks like she has barely had enough food and her lycan is very weak.” I am shocked he picked up she was a lycan. I could barely make out her scent. I nod my head and sit down in the chair. “Um” I hear him say. I look up to him and see him looking at me with a worried look. “In all honesty, I have no idea how she survived everything. The scars on her body and blood loss….If you would have waited another day, she may not have made it.”

My lycan growls and the doctor backs away from me. “Sorry. My lycan is protective of this girl and since she is another lycan.” I tell him and he bows his head. “No worries beta. My wolf is on edge with all that has been going here and I am glad that we have allies that are coming to help with the rouges.” I nod my head and lean back in the chair. I close my eyes and sleep takes over.

Unknown POV

I wait to hear back from my second in command. He was suppose to pick up my pet and bring her back to me. She has been gone for a few weeks and it is time for her to come back to me. I am thinking about making her my beloved mate and future ruler after I deal with the current vampire king and that Alpha wolf. I may even try to take on the hybrid prince. I heard he is starting to go feral anyway from not finding his mate.

My phone ringing pulls me from my thoughts. I huff out a breath when I see who is calling me. “Yes” I say in a board tone. “Sir, we have a problem” I hiss at him to continue talking. “She is gone sir. Everyone here including your second is dead.” I growl at the phone. “Find her” I say before hanging up. I throw my phone against the wall and watch as it breaks. Who could have taken her? I will hunt them down and kill anyone who dares to tough what is mine.
