The Abused Lycan and Her Mates

Chapter 8

Violet POV

Gabriel holds me to him while I shake in fear. I don’t want to go. What if he finds me or if they are all working together? “Mates will protect us. Mates keep us safe” my lycan says in a calming voice. I nuzzle into Gabriel’s neck and inhale his woodies scent, calming myself more. I start to pull away but his grip on me keeps me in place. I can feel Cameron’s eyes on me and can tell that they are both worried about me.

“Will one of you be with me the whole time?” I ask them. “Yes, my love. You will be next to me the whole time.” Gabriel says in a quiet voice. I nod my head and take another inhale of his amazing scent. I feel another hand on my back and feel the bed dip as Cameron moves closer. “Sweetheart, you will be next to Gabe the whole time we are there. We only plan to visit and then head back home the next day.” Cameron tells me.

I sigh into Gabriel’s neck and feel him shiver. “Why don’t we get some sleep. It’s getting late and we have a two-hour drive tomorrow to the coven” Gabriel suggests. I pull back to look at them wondering where I am going to sleep. Cameron moves off the bed and walks into the bathroom. Gabriel turns us so that I am laying facing him in the middle of the bed. “Um I should probably go” I start to say but Gabriel growl cuts me off. “You will be stay in here with us.” He says and pulls me closer to him.

I hear Cameron return into the room and he chuckles. “Sweetheart, his beast will not let you leave his sight until you are marked and mated.” Cameron says as he walks closer to the bed. I don’t know what to say to that. It scares me to share a bed with them but lycan is saying that we are safe. “You have nothing to worry about. We won’t do anything until you are ready for us. For now, all we want to do is snuggle and be close to you.” Cameron says.

I feel the bed dip behind me and an arm is draped across my waist. Cameron snuggles behind me and nuzzles into my neck, inhaling my scent. I start to relax into the combined warmth that they both bring to me. My lycan is purring and it’s the first time that I truly feel safe. I trust that they won’t hurt me or make me do something that I am not wanting to do. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

I drift off into a nightmare at some point. I am back in that room surrounded by vampires with two of them holding silver blades. I am chained to the wall and can’t move. They slowly walk closer to me and start to drag their blades across my exposed skin. They slowly step closer and start to lick at the blood that seeps from the wounds. I want to scream out in pain but my mouth is covered by a massive hand. They continue to cut me and drink the blood. When the hand leaves my mouth, I am to weak to do anything.

They slowly start to leave but only two of them stay behind. I fell my clothes being torn off me and then the next thing I see is a naked man standing before me. “He did say we can have our fun with her” “Yeah but we need to make sure that she survives and no biting.” “I know his rules” the naked one barks out. I can see the red in his eyes as he steps closer to me. He leans down and whispers in my ear. “The more you fight me, the more I want to take you” he says. I try to wiggle away from his grip but that only makes him slap me across the face. I try to fight back but then I feel the sting of a silver blade run along my side making me scream out in pain. The man then thrusts inside of me as I scream out in pain. I have tears running down my face and I try to claw at him to get away but he grabs me around the neck and squeezes so I can barely breath.

I sit up and bed with a scream and then start crying. “Violet” I hear Cameron say with a worried tone to his voice. “What’s wrong, what happened” he asks as he moves to sit next to me on the bed. I shake my head not wanting to talk about the nightmare. “Sweetheart, you are going to be ok” he says as he pulls me into his lap. He rubs his hand up and down my back trying to sooth me but it doesn’t help.

Just then Gabriel comes rushing into the room and is next to us on the bed. “What happened Cam? Why is crying? When I left this morning for a run, she was sleeping soundly next to you” Gabriel says. I whimper at the anger in his voice and he sighs. “Sorry love, I didn’t mean to scare you” he says as he places his hand on my cheek.

I lean more into his touch and close my eyes. “Please tell me what scared you love” Gabriel asks in a soft voice. “I had a nightmare. It felt so real” I say as I start to cry again. This time Gabriel comes to sit on front of us and pulls both me and Cameron into him. I am sandwiched between my mates and feel safe in their arms. I snuggle more into Cameron’s chest and feel myself start to relax. “Love, we will be here when you are ready to talk about what happened with those scumbags.” Gabriel says while kissing the top of my head.

I nod my head and close my eyes for a few minutes enjoying the warmth that surrounds me. Once I am finally calm, Gabriel starts to pull away. “We need to start getting ready to head out but I understand if you two want to wait here, while I head to the coven myself” Gabriel says. I don’t want to be separated from either of my mates. I shake my head no and grab his hand. “I want to stay close you both of you” I tell him. He smiles and nods his head. “Alright love. We will go together but we need to get ready since we are leaving in an hour.” He tells me.

I take a deep breath and get up to go into the bathroom to get cleaned up. It has been a long time since I took a hot shower. After I am done, I see a set of clothes waiting for me on the sink. One of them must have brought them in for me. I smile when I catch that it smells like Gabriel. He has given me another shirt of his to wear. The jeans look brand new and I wonder if that was where he was this morning.

When I walk out, I see that they have both changed and had their bags packed. There was even a smaller bag next to theirs. “We got you a few things but not sure what you like to wear.” Gabriel says with a shy smile. “Thank you” I tell him with a smile. He reaches his hand out for me and I willingly take his hand. He leads the way outside to where the SUVs are waiting for us.

That was when I saw Cameron run up to a tall looking man and he wrapped his arms around him. Gabriel chuckles and leads us over to them. When we reach where Cameron and the older looking man was standing Gabriel lets go of my hand to hug the man. “Uncle Cole, it’s nice to see you.” Gabriel says. I'm shocked that I am going to meet someone from his family.

I hear a chuckle and then feel a warm arm wrap around my waist. From the sparks that I feel it’s one of my mates. “Sweetheart, I would like to introduce you to my dad Cole. Dad, this is our lovely mate Violet” Cameron tells the man who is named Cole. He smiles and opens his arms up for a hug. I look back to Cameron and he nods his head. I take a deep breath and walk into the open arms.

When we pull apart, he gives me a sad smile. “My son has told me about you. You must have been through a lot my dear.” He says and I nod my head. “More than I would like to remember” I tell him. He nods his head and offers me his arm. “Come wait with me while they load up”. I move to the side while I watch Cameron and Gabriel get everything loaded into the SUV’s and talk to the warriors about the trip.

“So, Violet. Cam tells me that you were in rough shape when they arrived. How are you feeling?” he asks me. “I feel better. Still a little sore but wounds will hear, it’s the nightmares that keep me awake at night.” I am shocked that I tell him that much. “I am sorry that you are going through this. Trust me when I tell you this. Those boys will do anything for you, all you are to do is ask them.” He says with a smile. I nod my head and feel safe in his presence. There is something comforting about his presence and my lycan even relaxes.

Once my mates are done talking to the warriors, Alpha Josh is there is see us off. “Please call if you need anything Alpha Prince Gabriel” It still shocks me that I am mated to a prince. My lycan nods her head but still does not talk much to me. She is still healing from everything but I know that she will be there if I need her. “Let’s load up and head out” Cameron orders as he walks over to me. “Come on sweetheart, you can ride with us” Cameron says as he walks over to the middle SUV.

I sit in the middle while Cameron and Gabriel are on either side on me. Cole, Cameron’s father is in the front passenger’s seat while a warrior from their pack sits in the drivers sear. I was nervous as soon as we start to move forward. I feel a hand on each thigh and I start to relax. I lean more towards Gabriel and breath in his intoxicating scent. I close my eyes and let myself fall sleep.
