The Abused Lycan and Her Mates

Chapter 13

Rosa POV

I am meditating like I do every morning. Looking for her and trying to sense her. This time though, I can sense her. I can sense the power that she has. Her power is starting to show, which means her Lycan is awake.

I have been hiding with a large group of lycans, wolves and vampires that are still loyal to the Silver Claw Pack. We are just waiting for our alpha to lead us. I've had visions of her but only glimpses of what she has been through. I have never been able to pinpoint her location until today. I open my eyes and look to the young lycan next to me.

“I found her” I tell him. He has a huge smile on his face and nods his head. “When do we leave?” he asks. “We leave now. She is at the coven but there are two powerful forces around her. We must use cation with the stronger one” I tell him. He nods his head and heads out of the room. I send up a prayer to the goodness that she is safe and ready for what is to come.

It takes us four hours to arrive and we are greeted by guards. “State your business” one man says while the other eyes Noah. He is trying to keep his lycan under control but I can sense he is having a hard time. “We are here to speak with Violet. We are from her old pack. My name is Rosa Winter” I say my name and watch as they both freeze. I am a not just any witch. I am the leader of a coven and one of the most powerful witches of this time.

Both the guards bow to me and allow us to pass. We are greeted by the coven leaders Jasper and Jewels. They haven’t changed in the last twenty-five years. “Lord Jasper, Lady Jewels.” We greet them with a bow. “Please Rosa, drop the titles. It is great to see you but what do we owe this visit. It’s been twenty-five years since the last time we saw you” Jasper says. I nod my head and sigh.

I look at them and smile. “I know you have a visitor by the name of Violet staying with you. I am here to speak with her about her powers and her family.” I tell them. Jasper nods his head and turns to Jewels. She nods her head and smiles at us. “She is here but she also has both of her mates with her. One is very protective of her but he is one you can talk to. While the other will more than likely try to kill you.” Jewels chuckles. I shake my head and know that must have been the powerful one that I felt around her.

Noah lets out a growl but calms after taking a deep breath. “Sorry about him. May we move into your office?” I ask Jasper. “Of course. This way Rosa.” On the way to his office, I spot a young man that has a strong presence around me. He must be a beta. I wonder is this one of her mates or if he is just the beta to her mates. I watch as he takes off up the stairs and then disappears out of my sight.

Jasper catches me looking and he chuckles. “Rosa, that was one her mates. He is the more level headed one between the two.” Jasper tells us before we enter his office. We take a seat but Jasper stands by his desk. “Tell me, why are you really here?” he asks. I sigh and look to Noah. “Jasper, I am here to help teach Violet to use her powers but I am also here for her as our Alpha.” I tell him. His eyes widen as he looks to Noah.

Noah nods his head and clear his throat. “There was a group of us that managed to get away when the pack was attacked. We have been waiting for our alpha to return. Rosa had a vision of Violet but could not tell where she was. Something was blocking her from trying to find her.” Noah tells Jasper. Jasper looks to me and I nod my head. “There must have been a witch working with them or she was surrounded by silver.” I tell him.

I watch as his eye goes wide. “I have heard some of her story from the Royal Beta Cole. She was tortured by silver blades and whips.” Noah growls and stands up. “Noah, you need to calm down. If you can’t go take a run” I tell him. He nods his head and sits on the floor to meditate. “Sorry about him. He has been waiting for this day as much as I have” I tell Jasper. He looks closely at Jasper and his eyes widen. “No. You mean to tell me they both survived” I smile at Jasper and nod my head.

There is knock on the door and Jasper walks over to answer. “Awe Cameron, come on it. I am sure both Gabriel and Violet will be here shortly.” He tells the young man I saw earlier. He walks in but stops when he sees me. He must sense something about me as he sniffs the air. “You are a witch” he says with a low growl. “I am young lycan. Come take a seat while we wait for your mates” I tell him. His eyes go wide and he tilts his head to the side like he is trying to see if I am a threat or not.

I sigh and stand up. “I am not here to harm you or your mates. I am here to speak with your mate Violet. She is very important to me and to our people. My name is Rosa. I am a witch that worked with her pack and knew her mother.” I tell him. He nods his head and moves to stand in the corner of the room by the bookcase. He is eyeing Noah and Noah is growling at him. I shoot Noah a look and he closes his eyes again taking deep breaths. I watch as Cameron studies Noah. “What is his problem?” Cameron asks. “Once Violet is here, I will answer any questions you have.” I tell him. Cameron nods his head but stays where he is standing.

A few minutes later there is another knock on the door but this time Jasper calls out for whoever it is to enter. In walks Jewels with another man but it’s the women by his side that has be gasping. She looks so much like her mother. She turns to me and I see she has her father’s eyes. I bow my head to her but the young man with her growls and pulls her behind him. Noah stands up and growls back at him. But what is interesting is the young man’s eyes. One eye is red and the other is black. He must be a hybrid which means he is the prince and son of Queen Skylar.

“Calm down Gabriel” Violet says as she runs a hand up and down his arm. He closes his eyes and takes a few deep breaths. I now understand what Jewels said earlier. I bow to him before speaking. “I am the great witch Rosa young prince. I am not here to harm your mates.” I say before raising my head. When I look to the young prince he is calmer and his eyes are back to normal but he is still letting his aura slip out. Noah is doing the same thing and that is when I realize this could become very complicated.

I turn to Noah and raise a hand. I can see he is trying to calm his beats but his eyes say that his beast is pushing for control. “Noah, if you can’t get your lycan under control, you need to leave now” I tell him with a stern voice. He takes a deep breath and shakes his head no. I know that he wants to stay but he needs to keep control. I turn back to see that Violet has the young prince calmer now.

Jasper steps up and clears his throat. “Why don’t we all take a seat” I nod my had and move to sit back down in the chair. I watch as the young prince moves to sit in the chair behind Jasper’s desk but pulls Violet to sit in his lap. Cameron moves to stand next to them while Noah comes to sit next to me. I watch while Violet looks at Noah. I smile thinking about what I am about to tell her.

Cameron is the one who talks first. “So, we know who you are but who is this lycan next to you?” I look to Noah and then back to Cameron. “Well, first off. His name is Noah. Secondly, I am here to speak with Violet.” I tell him. He nods his head and turns to Violet. I am shocked that the young prince speaks next. “But that does not answer why he is here Mother Rosa” my he has manners. “I see your mother has raised you well Prince Gabriel.” I say with a smile. “She did, now answer my mate's question” he states with more authority this time.

I bow my head and take a steady breath. “Noah is Violet’s twin brother.” I hear a gasp and look to see Violet with a shocked expression on her face. She is shaking her head and starts to tremble. Cameron gets on his knees to comfort her but prince Gabriel growls at Noah and me. I am shocked that she does not remember him. “Why doesn’t she remember me?” Noah asks with a whimper.

I shake my head just as confused as he is. “She doesn’t remember anything before she was taken by her so called foster family” Cameron speaks. I get up and move closer to her but Gabriel pulls her closer to him while he growls at me. “I am not going to hurt her. I am trying to see if there was spell casted on her to make her forget who she is and where she comes from” I tell him.

Cameron places his hand on Gabriel and nods his head. “Let her try. Remember that she didn’t even remember Jewels and Jasper. Maybe Mother Rosa is right.” I watch as Gabriel closes his eyes and takes a couple breaths. He nods his head and Cameron looks to me. “You can go ahead but Gabriel barely has control of his beats right now.” Cameron tells me and I get his warning.

I move close enough to touch Violet’s arm. I close my eyes and let my power reach out to see if there was a spell casted. After a few minutes, I pick up the dark magic. I open my eyes and carefully pull my hand away from Violet. Gabriel is watching me but it’s his beast that is in control right now. “My prince, I can sense dark magic was used. I can make a potion that will break the dark magic. With that, Violet will regain her memories.” I tell him with a bow. He nods his head and bends down to nuzzle Violet’s neck.

When I return to my seat, Noah’s head is hung low. “I failed her. I failed to protect my sister. If only I came into my powers sooner, then maybe” I grab his hand but it was Cameron who spoke. “It’s not your fault for what happened. You both were just kids.” Noah looks up and nods his head. “Your right” he says before he gets up and leaves the office. Violet looks up and watches him leave the room. She looks to Gabriel and Cameron before getting up from Gabriel’s lap and runs out the door after Noah.
