Kyle knelt on the cold stone slabs. He raised his head, looking at Sera's indifferent face, tears falling from his reddened eyes.
"It was you all along..." His voice was hoarse and trembling. He suddenly lunged forward, wanting to reach out and hug Sera's legs. "Sera, I was wrong! I was blind, let's start over..."
Sera stepped back half a pace in disgust. She took out the electronic tablet stained with dried blood from her combat outfit's pocket and smashed it directly onto the floor in front of Kyle.
"Bang!" The tablet hit the floor, the screen lit up, displaying densely packed transfer records.
Zane's eyes instantly turned cold. He took a large stride forward, swung his solid long leg, and kicked his heavy combat boot viciously into Kyle's chest.
