“Hey,” Esha sneaked in her head like a cat in Adya’s cabin as she looked up from her laptop.
“It's 5 p.m. already, let’s leave?” Esha asked with a pretty smile on her face, she was trying to be as friendly with Adya as she could. Though it was mildly suspicious at first but then, she was jolly by nature.
So she let it slide.
“I have the last file I need to finish reading, can you wait up for about half an hour?” She asked but Esha’s smile dropped.
She chewed her lip before she held Adya’s gaze back, “I have to catch the 5:45 pm train, I am sorry I can’t,” Her look was apologetic.
“It is fine,” Adya said as Esha walked away leaving her to finish off her work.
She occasionally glanced out of the floor-to-ceiling window of her cabin, the view of sunset was the
