Hate, stares, sneers and hateful words beneath breaths were everything I was getting from the eagle witch. I was even dreading the times I actually had to make my way to her damn hut. If there was someone hurt or I needed some medicine, it was something I couldn't shuck up to someone else. These were my wolves, so it was something I had to do.
I thanked the goddess for the two witches, but mostly for Tuwa, they had helped tremendously with our injured and sick. She had become like a grandmotherly figure to everybody around wolves and eagles alike. Her toothless smile eased everybody, she was always offering small gifts and food.
