¨Bastet!¨I heard my god yell at me, but I couldn't answer, the pressure in my chest was making it hard to breathe. I woke up with pains so acute that I was sure I was losing my magic, but no, after I checked myself, I was alright. It seems the pain was a ghost pain. Something was, really, really wrong.
I moved my legs out of the bed and landed on my feet. When I heard the voice of my mate yelling my name again, ¨Bastet!
