We ran and we hid. That first day after we were attacked, Thalion got it in his head that we needed to get to the Eagle kingdom as fast as possible, and he made us both make a run for it, to our full capacity, always looking around for any threat and never stopping. Stopping meant we could be found or worse, it meant that we could be killed, and we couldn't take that chance.
By the second day, with no rest, my legs, which were currently dragging themselves on the ground, gave out on me. I couldn't continue anymore. The pace we were traveling at was cruel and inhumane. I needed sleep, I needed to sit down, every muscle in my body screamed at me to rest.
