Blurs of figures rushed in with the two vamps, but all Zeke could see were the red eyes, fangs, and claws coming towards him by the first two, and it had him glued to the spot, unable to move even a finger.
However, Vitali flew into the man, knocking him, Vi and the vampire attacking him to the floor.
Vitali quickly turned the vamp, so he was on his back and Vi was over him, Vi hissing, “Go! Do as we planned!”
Zeke blinked, trying to remember what the hell Vitali was talking about, and probably would have stayed there had Vitali ground out, “Ci needs you, Zeke. Go!”
