Daniel's POV :
How could he do this to a girl like Elle ? She is just like my sister. I am going to protect her. I promised her that I will be by her side every time. This is the time when she needs me the most and I am going to prove to her that I actually adore her like my own sister . I thought to myself.
"Nora and Elle I am going somewhere . I will be back soon . Nora you can pack your stuff until then . Don't forget our flight is at 9:00 pm" .
"Okay baby . Be safe. Love you" Nora said . "Love you too". " Bye oppa" Elle said .

(In the police station)
I appealed for Kyung Seok . One police officer brought him .
"What did you do this time? " I asked him.
"I am sorry brother . I lost my control this time . Please tell them to release me" he lied to me again like old days. Same dialogue , same sh*t. "Who was the girl this time?"
He stuttered at first but after a short pause he said " My ex-girlfriend" . I was jst examining his answers and he lied again . I stood up with the boiling lava of anger inside me and punched the thick glass wall between us . "Damn it , at least speak the truth" . He seemed to be confused at first then he said "Daniel brother I am telling the truth . Believe me buddy . Just get me out of here . I'll pay you back for this" . His words were empty and they didn't reveal any sincerity . "Remember one thing Seok I have always supported you despite you being at fault . I have always undeceived you but you never listened to me . This time... how could you? How could you dammit? I told you every time that she is like my sister , she is like my sister , don't let anyone harm her in my absence . But you , you backstabbed me . You ruined our friendship of thirty years" I didn't want to cry but his betrayal really hurt me . I turned away after pouring my heart out and left .

"You came back," Maria asked . "Yes , babe" . " You are not looking very good . What happened ? Your eyes are red too" Maria asked . "Nothing babe . Did you pack your stuff?" ."Yes I am already done".
"Dinner is ready and served . Hurry up come to the table" Elle called for us . "Coming kiddo" I replied .
After the dinner I gave Elle some money . She refused at first but I told her that it is her pre birthday gift . Maria and I gave her a warm hug . Maria even cried . After the whole emotional family scene we took our leave.
Elle's POV
I am happy that I found some genuine gems . AH! my life is taking turns and turns . For some time I really want to be free and at ease . I just want to lie down under the starry sky and enjoy the icy cold winter while wearing warm clothes . A cup of coffee will add fuel to fire .
One thing is for sure now that I am not going to waste my tears anymore .
My phone rang , it will be Soo jin . I ran towards my kitchen counter . "Hi , what's up?" I asked . "Is everything alright? You? asking me first?" . "Yes everything is good . You tell me ,do you want to go to the university tomorrow together?" . "First , madam give this phone to Kim Elle . I don't talk to strangers" Jin taunted . "Sir this is Kim Elle . Now tell me?".
"I am always ready . Just tell me the time to pick you up" . "We will take a long walk . So , come early in the morning after the dawn . We will eat breakfast from outside and how can I forget my love coffee" I said to Jin . "Elle , seriously tell me did you hit your head or something? Because this is definitely not you" . "Why? Can't I be free with you? Are you not my friend? Are friends not supposed to hang out?" I asked Jin childishly . " Okay , okay . My dear friend I will be there after dawn" . " Bye Jin". I hung up the phone .

" Hey Jinni, you came early as you promised . Here's your reward" I handed him a caramel candy. "Thanks miss Elle . But Jinni?" . " Yeah . Jinni , your new name . You like it?" . "No I don't like it". "Well , I don't care Jinni . Now let's go ,we need to pick Mirae too" I told Jin.
"That wasn't part of the plan " Jin looked a bit sad . "Well , that was . I didn't tell you before that's the difference". "O yeah right" Jin became upset. Why is he acting like this? To make his mood light . I jumped and grabbed his neck under my arm . "Jinni what happened? What made you upset?" . "My neck , my neck" Jin shouted while helping himself out of my grip . "First tell me my Jinni winnie" . He laughed at my words . "Finally , my jinni smiled . Do you want to eat ice cream jinni?" . "No mam . Now leave me" ."Okay".
We met Mirae on our way , ate perfect , savory and delicious breakfast from a random stall . We grabbed our coffees and went straight to university .
"Thank you guys . I enjoyed it a lot today" I thanked them for hanging out with me.
We entered the classroom and took our casual seats . Everyone gossiped about me like before but their voices don't matter to me anymore . I glared at every single person who backbites me and my stare paused on the front row . A girl in a hijab was sitting there alone . I don't know why she is alone . I found that some people were also talking down on her . I was absent for three days . So , I didn't have a single clue about what happened in the class . I tried to ask Mirae but unfortunately class started .

(In the cafeteria)
Mirae and I sat for lunch . Jin was with his friends . I again saw that hijab girl sitting alone . I asked Mirae about her . "She is a new admission . She is a Muslim girl that's why everyone avoid her . Her name is Maryam Ali" . "But what is there in her to avoid?". " Don't you know Muslims are terrorists" Mirae's words made me furious .She continued to bad mouth her . Who is she and who are we to judge someone , to judge a community , to judge a relation? This is called racism . And I am not going to let this happen . "Mirae you really need to shut up now" I shouted at her . "She is a human being like us and definitely more good than us . At least she is not spitting bad words about us" I stood up from my chair with my lunch tray and walked towards her . I sat with her and everyone found something very special to talk about again.
