Elle's POV

"She is older enough to get married" my mom said. " yeah I know that's why I have decided that she is going to get married by the end of this year " my dad replied. I was just passing by my parent's room when I heard these words . My mom said" Have you already found a boy for Kim Elle?" . "Yes" my dad replied.

BOOMMM!!! that hit me hard. I ran to my room and slammed the door shut. While looking at my reflection in the mirror tears just started to fall . A flurry of questions popped in my mind. I talked to my betrayed reflection in the mirror that I am only 22 years old and they want me to get married so soon ? Why they don't even ask me that what I want to do with my life? Why they never cared about my choices? I started to cry like a baby in the darkness of my room and hugged myself tightly. I know that they never cared about my opinions but I didn't knew that they will go so far this time. With swollen eyes and aching heart I fell asleep.

NEXT MORNING

I woke up , got a shower and walked to the kitchen downstairs . I helped my mum with breakfast and set the table. I was eating quietly . " Elle we want to tell you something" mum said. I nodded because I knew what is she going to talk about." We are planning your wedding by the end of the year"mom said. "ok" I replied. I knew if I tried to oppose them they'll for surely blame me or scold me . And in the end I'll be the one to become bad in their eyes. That's why after doing dishes I came to my room and started to regret about my presence in this world that I am so helpless and useless that I can't even speak or fight for myself.

Whenever I am sad I listen to BTS and sometimes I write poems in my diary and after writing I sing those words . I did the same this time I just pulled out my diary and started to write.

I wish I could wander in the woods like an animal

Wander as if I never did before

I wish I could fly high in the sky like a bird

High as If I never did before

I wish I could cut these boundaries that held me tight

Tight as if I am surrounded by thornes

Thornes as if destruction of my soul

I wish I could travel the world like a dandelion

Travel as if I never did before

I wish I could live my life like a human

Live as If I never did before
