the amazing thing about time is that it doesn't rush your healing process, I have found that grief is a journey that isn't meant to be rushed, one has to feel every bit of it, there will be good and bad days but it is crucial that one doesn't skip the lows and rush for the highs. today may be worse than yesterday, tomorrow might be better than today, all this is worth the feeling of hope and peace you will find at the end of your journey. I am open to rough days just as much as I am prepared for better days because I know that I will not face this journey on my own. tomorrow I will walk but I will be following in his footprints, through loss, pain, and suffering I found assurance from christ that I will never be alone and I was never alone. as confusing as this journey has been I am grateful for the loss because in my weaknesses I found strength. this isn't the end this is the beginning of finding peace and healing. better days are coming and if I never get to experience joy again I am blessed enough to know that in this life I was blessed with a loving family and my father loved me wholeheartedly, and God blessed me with his grace and mercy to experience a life that wasn't perfect but was fulfilling. i no longer have questions about time, hope, death, or life, I have found what my soul has been longing for in christ that being peace.
