Constance             Numb.             That’s all I felt, a deep-set numbness.  It affected my body, my heart, my mind, my very soul.  It dragged me down into the deepest and darkest places, awakening depressing thoughts and probabilities, making me wonder if everything I was fighting towards was worth it.             I’d taken my father’s life… Well, my uncle’s.  It hadn’t been easy, to kill him with my own hands, but I had known Ulysses wouldn’t have fought him.  I don’t think I would have been distraught over Ulysses’ death however, I needed him alive.  There was still much he had to accomplish—mostly all good deeds that would hopefully help redeem his name and not completely destroy him.  As much as I wanted to see him get what he deserved, he also deserved a second chance.  He had
