Gabriel             My control over the situation was slipping and it wasn’t something I was used to losing.  Around her, though, it was quickly becoming a natural occurrence and I wasn’t sure if I was ok with that loss of power.              I had known better than to engage her, I should have left well enough alone especially since she had made it clear my advances weren’t welcome.  But, I couldn’t help myself when I saw her sitting alone at the bar, worrying her lip, lost in thought.  She looked damn gorgeous in her get-up and I just couldn’t resist.             I needed her closer, needed to feel her in my arms, and so, I asked her to dance.  And now, as we fluidly moved across the floor like one being, I was wondering what the hell was happening.  Emotions I wasn’t used to—peace, s
