When the recording cut off, the private room went so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. Helena froze where she stood, her face flushing pale and green with embarrassment. "Lucy, what's the deal with you recording me?" she asked, her voice cracking. "We're just old classmates messing around, do you really have to stab me in the back like this?"
