Schoenen had immediately offered Commander Destin sanctuary and full protection for O.P and Renshaw, upon hearing about their dilemma. Of course as a potential future Emperor, they had every reason to ensure good relations with him and the Galaxy. But they would have extended this hospitality to anyone who needed it, and was willing to adopt the Schoenen lifestyle.
There was no reason to keep his presence a secret. Security on Schoenen was not an issue. Schoenen was the most peaceful place in the galaxy.
