By noon, Zephyr sat on his bed, sunlight streaming through the window, reflecting off the contact card in his hand. Sylvia Russell. The name was written in bold letters. The full moon was one day away. He had lost his job at the hospital. He had to make a decision. Zephyr sucked in a deep breath. He grabbed his phone beside him, his heart pounding as he dialled her phone number. A warm flush crept up his cheeks as the phone rang. His grip on the device tightened.
