Liam’s POV
Aurora stood right in the middle of both Lucian and me, her expression completely unreadable as she says, "The month is finally over, and it is time you both left."
My eyes widened in absolute shock. I mean, I know it was only supposed to be for one month, but I didn't expect it to be this soon.
Lucian frowned, stepping forward as he asked, "Will I be back?"
"I will let you know, Lucian," she says, keeping her voice leveled.
What the hell is that even supposed to mean?
