Aurora’s POV A small smile tugged at my lips. I lifted my gaze to meet his. “You… want me to be your girlfriend?” I whispered, my voice shaking with a mix of confusion and bubbling excitement. My heart raced so fast I could barely understand everything I was feeling. “Yes, Aurora,” he said softly. “I fell in love with you the moment I laid my eyes on you. So I thought… why don’t I just ask you to be mine?” He paused, searching my face. “I’ll understand if you want to think about it first.” A bright smile spread across my face before I could even think. “Yes! Yes, I will be your girlfriend,” I said, barely able to contain the joy spilling out of me. “Thank you,” he replied, a warm smile lighting up his own lips. My smile grew even bigger. “You just made me the happiest man on earth.” I couldn’t stop smiling. My cheeks were starting to hurt, but I didn’t care. He stood up slowly and walked toward me. Gently, he took my hand and lifted me to my feet. He leaned in closer. My heart fluttered wildly as I leaned forward too. Our lips met. I kissed him back with all the passion bursting inside my chest. The world felt like it disappeared around us. When he finally pulled away, he placed one soft, quick kiss on my lips again. “Would you love to go on a trip with me now?” he asked. I nodded eagerly, my eyes wide. “Yes, I would love that.” He pulled me into his arms and hugged me tight. I hugged him back just as hard, burying my face in his chest. I still couldn’t believe it — I was his girlfriend now. The excitement felt so big I thought I might actually burst. My whole body tingled with happiness. He loosened the hug, and we sat down to finish our dinner. He kept feeding me little bites, his eyes sparkling as he talked about how excited he was that I belonged to him now. I told him I felt the same way. Every second of this moment felt perfect. I wished it would never end. By the time we stepped outside, it was already getting late. My new boyfriend offered to take me home. When we reached my apartment building, he unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned in. This time he kissed me desperately, full of need. I kissed him back just as eagerly, my fingers clutching his shirt. “Get ready. We travel tomorrow,” he said, his voice low. I nodded, completely starstruck, staring at him with wide, happy eyes. “Goodnight,” he added softly. I nodded again, still smiling. I stepped out of the car and waved at him until he drove away. The moment I stepped inside my apartment and closed the door behind me, I let out a loud, joyful scream. “I have a boyfriend! I have a boyfriend!” I cried out, fake tears of happiness streaming down my cheeks. “Someone finds me worthy… someone actually wants to date me!” “Don’t you think you accepted him too quickly?” my wolf asked. “I don’t think so,” I said, still fake crying with happy tears. “I should have answered before he even asked me.” I dropped down to the floor and lay there, smiling through my tears. “A man like Lucian loves me. I must have saved the world in my previous life to get a man like Lucian to want to date me. He is a demigod… and I am just a mid girl, but he wants to date me!” I screamed, my voice full of disbelief and joy. “Aurora, don’t say that,” my wolf replied gently. “You are the prettiest girl, and you deserve everything good. Lucian knows that. That’s why he chose you.” “You are so right!” I said, jumping up from the floor in one quick motion. My cheeks burned as I blushed so hard. “I have to look perfect for him. I mean… I am his girlfriend now.” I rushed to my closet and started pulling out clothes, but nothing felt right. None of them were nice enough. I didn’t have enough revealing clothes to show off my sexy legs and my sexy body. And now I had a sexy boyfriend! I screamed again, this time louder. “You will get into trouble with your neighbors if you continue screaming like that,” my wolf warned. “You are probably right,” I said, trying to calm down. “I should be calm and enjoy this.” But I couldn’t hold it in. I screamed once more, spinning around with pure excitement. “I will quietly get ready for my boyfriend and our trip!” “Aurora…” my wolf sighed, but I could feel she was just as excited for me. I spent hours packing and choosing outfits, my heart racing the whole time. I barely got any sleep. When the alarm rang at 5 a.m., I jolted awake. I had hardly slept at all. I rushed to the bathroom, did a little makeup to look fresh and alive, and smiled at myself in the mirror. I was really doing this. I was going on a trip with my boyfriend. *** “This is amazing!” I breathed out the moment we arrived at the resort. My eyes widened as I looked around. “You did this for me?” I asked, turning my gaze to Lucian with pure wonder. “Yes,” he said with a smile. “You are my girlfriend now.” I couldn’t help but smile so big my cheeks hurt again. “Get ready, okay? I have dinner reservations for us,” he said before leaving the room. I pulled out the nicest outfit I had. We were only staying for one day, which felt a little weird. I had expected a week or at least five days. But maybe he just wanted one special day for us. I got dressed carefully, my stomach fluttering with excitement, and went to meet him. “You look so beautiful,” Lucian said with a warm smile as he pulled out a chair for me. The ambiance felt perfect. Soft lights, beautiful scenery, and a romantic atmosphere surrounded us. The food tasted amazing too. After dinner, we walked together through the quiet, peaceful place. Everything looked so lovely under the night sky. “What has been your biggest dream?” Lucian asked. I smiled softly. My biggest dream was to have a family of my own, filled with love. I never got to experience a real family, so that was what I wanted most. “To always remain happy,” I said, still smiling. “That’s my biggest dream.” “Oh, don’t worry,” he replied gently. “I will always make you happy.” My heart fluttered. “What’s your biggest dream?” I asked him. “I don’t have any dream, Aurora. I don’t dream,” he said. My smile slowly flattened. I felt a little sad hearing that. “There isn’t anything you want right now?” I asked softly. “Hmm… I have what I would wish for, and that’s you,” he answered. A big smile spread across my lips again. The weather was getting a little too cold. Lucian stopped walking, took off his jacket, and gently placed it over my shoulders. Warmth and happiness filled my chest as I looked up at him. “Thank you,” I whispered. He nodded and took my hand in his. We walked back to the room like that, his fingers wrapped around mine. Once we got inside, I sat on the edge of the bed, feeling a little anxious. We were dating now, so this should be okay… right? “Are you okay?” Lucian asked. I lifted my gaze to meet his and nodded quickly. “Should we seal our relationship?” he said. I blinked, feeling confused. “Seal our relationship?” “Having s*x. That’s what I mean,” he explained. “But if you aren’t ready, I won’t force you.” My hands clenched a little in my lap. A man like Lucian deserved my body. I shouldn’t think too much about this. “Yes… yes, I want us to seal our relationship,” I said. A smile appeared on his lips. He walked closer and sat beside me on the bed, then gently held my hand. I kept my eyes on him, my heart beating fast. “You are really beautiful, Aurora, and I am glad that you are mine,” he said softly, smiling. He leaned in and kissed me. The kiss started soft and slow, but it grew deeper. He gently leaned me back as he continued kissing me. When he finally pulled away, he looked into my eyes. “Are you ready for me?” he asked. “Yes,” I whispered.
