22 Sal looked out over the congregation that had come to hear her, knowing that more were watching over a video feed than could possibly fit into the room. Despite that, the audience was far smaller than usual. The Spindrift was travelling in jump space which meant her words couldn’t leave the ship. Not yet, at least. Once they returned to normal space the recordings would be distributed throughout the rest of the war fleet, but for the moment she spoke only to those aboard the Spindrift. She hoped the message would one day be relayed back to the civilian ships they had left behind, but knew that might never come to pass.
