I enjoyed writing this book because it brought back so many of the memories from the trip to Scotland that Hubby and I took several years ago. Writing first person from the male perspective was also a lot of fun, and I appreciated the opportunity to explore the ins and outs of Gabriel McCord, a character that my readers and I have found fascinating since his first appearance in The Mountain’s Shadow.
