“What the f**k is she doing here?” Dane was already aiming his gun at Nora before I came in between them.
“As long as Nora is in my territory, she’s under my protection,” I challenged him. “Put your gun down, Dane.”
“Are you f*****g crazy?” Rage hardened in his expression. “Do you know what her father did to me, to you, and to everyone they killed?”
