I don't know what made me get in this man's car. I'm usually smarter than this, but something about waiting for my father's limo didn't sit well with me. California is normally a hot and dry area, but for some reason, this night was abnormally cold, colder than I had ever experienced in my twenty-five years living here.
“Do you want my jacket? While the car heats up at least?" he asked.
“You better not try anything because I'll kick you in the f*cking d**k," I said.
Ares raised his hands in surrender as he slide the jacket off his shoulders. All night he had been nothing but a gentleman and I've been nothing shy of a raging b*tch. He even offered me a ride because he saw I was cold.
