I didn't reply back to her, I couldn't, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My mother hasn't spoken to anybody since my 20th birthday. What was meant to be a celebration turned into a disaster, I had my traditional pancakes for breakfast and opened my presents but then the arguing started. My mother snapped at anything my father did wrong, even the most stupidits things. He had enough and took her to his office, they argued for a long time then my mother came out, she looked so fragile and pale, she come up to me hugged me and whispered "I'm so sorry kochanie (honey) I love you" then went to her room and never came out. It was the worst day of my life, that day the family broke. I finally managed to drift of but woke up a couple hours later. I slept 4 hours, I felt like s**t and knew I could fall back asleep easily but I needed to get ready, Laura probably was already ready and was just waiting on me so I knew I didn't have time to myself. I don't really have a morning routine, I wasn't that type of girl who stuck to a plan, I just did what needed to be done and what I felt like, today was just the basics and essential hygiene routine. I was tired and could not be bothered to plaster my face with makeup, and i knew laura would get impationt if i took too long and i couldnt be bothered to listern to her moaning. My outfit was cute though today, I wore a beautiful baby blue maxi dress and a white jean jacket to keep my arms warm, my dress was mid thigh so you could see the ending to my butterfly tattoo. My hair was a frizzy mess and I knew I didn't have enough time to straighten it so I just did the easiest thing and put it in a messy bun. Checking myself out in the mirror I praised myself with the outfit choice but I knew something was missing...Looking around the closet I spotted a simple bag, and added some accessories. Now looking back I knew my outfit was complete. I loved fashion, if I didn't have to live in this lifestyle I would of loved to go to university and study fashion, but that was just a dream as I knew it was impossible, ive asked my father about it multiple times and his answers always no so now its just a dream,After spraying my perfume I grabbed my phone and went to the living room. "About time man what took you so long" Laura wasn't even paying attention she was too busy taking photos of herself. " I've been waiting for like Ever, can we go now I'm bored" I couldn't stop the giggle that come out my lips. "Laura you haven't had to wait that long you've been up what 10 minutes longer than me" She was impatient but she was at that age, she was hormonal and just a normal teenager. There was a 4 year age gap between us, it doesn't seem like much but she was still just my little baby sister, I was hungry but instead of ordering hotel food i thought it would be nice to go explore the city and go to a cafe. Neither of us have ever been to Russia, so I did not have a clue what was local to where we was, I knew we were in Moscow but that didn't really help us at all. The weather was a bit warmer than it was yesterday but it was still cold, we walked around for a while trying to search for a bakery. we were girls and to survive a shopping trip we needed food, drinks and loads of sugar to survive first. The city life here was crazy, there was so many people and so many cars around us, it was packed. All I could hear was beeping, talking and my heels clacking. I couldn't understand how my sister doesn't care about what clothes she wears. I couldn't be like that. I needed to wear at least a pair of heels daily and a nice matching outfit. "dlaczego wszyscy na nas naskakują, siostro" ( why is everyone staring at us sister) I didn't know how to reply to that, I felt uncomfortable, maybe they knew we were foreign, maybe they knew who's daughter we was... it could be anything. I looked around and noticed that quite a few people were staring and i started to panick a little, anything could happen to us right now, we needed to be careful. "ponieważ oboje wyglądacie teraz pięknie. nie martwcie się dziewczyny, nic wam się nie stanie. Dawid wysłał mi adres do lokalnej piekarni, więc podążaj za mną" (because you both look beautiful right now. don't be worried girls nothing is going to happen to you. Dawid has sent me an address to a local bakery, so follow me) Markus one of our assigned guards replied, so we did just that, I smiled at what he said, he though I looked beautiful and for some reason I liked the sound of that coming out of his mouth, no man has ever said that to me as I've been stuck at my house for how long so hearing that sparked something inside me. The bakery was located right in the middle of town. The outside was beautiful, there was fairy lights all around the outside seating and fake ivy hanging from the walls, it looked like a fairy grotto, the name read Ivanov пекарня, (bakery). I thought the outside was stunning but the inside looked even better, it stuck with the fairy/nature theme and had a beautiful fake tree in the corner of each room with lights dangling from the branches, the tables were white but looked fancy, the counter and display table was located on a table that was decorated to look like a garden. I ordered a caramel hot chocolate and a butter croissant, and of course I have to order a millionaire shortbread as I have a bad sweet tooth. Laura order was just a sandwich and a coffee.
